TEXAS TORNADO CAKE

CAKE :

  • 2 cups all purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 20 oz can crushed Pineapple
TOPPING -

  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup evaporated Milk
  • 1 cup granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup sweetened Coconut Flakes 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13" baking pan with butter
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together your flour, sugar, baking soda, eggs, vanilla, and crushed pineapple
  • Pour into your baking pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown
  • Poke several holes in the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon
  • In a medium sized sauce pan, heat your butter, sugar, evaporated milk, and vanilla until it reaches a boil
  • Mix in your pecans and coconut and continue cooking for about 5 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly
  • Pour your topping evenly over your cake, slice, and enjoy!

Ingredients :


1 & 1/2 cups all purpose Flour

1 tablespoon Sugar

2 teaspoons Baking Powder

1   teaspoon Salt

1 & 1/3 cup whole Milk

1 large Egg

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract


Maple Syrup for serving 


  1. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a large bowl, whisk milk, egg, and vanilla. While whisking, stream in melted butter and whisk to combine.
  2. Gently fold dry ingredients into milk mixture until just combined (do not overmix; some lumps are okay).
  3. Preheat a griddle or other large heavy skillet over medium heat until hot but not scorching, 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Melt enough butter to cover surface of griddle, then pour about 1/4 cup batter onto griddle. Cook pancake until bubbles form on top and sides start to lift from pan, 2 to 3 minutes. Flip and cook until bottom is golden brown and pancake is fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack. Wipe off griddle, then repeat with more butter and remaining batter (you should get about 10 pancakes).
  5. Divide pancakes among plates. Serve with butter and syrup.

COLONEL SANDERS SECRET FRIED CHICKEN 

RECIPE SECRET 11 HERBS & SPICES


2 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 tablespoon dried basil leaves
1/3 tablespoon dried oregano leaves
1 tablespoon celery salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon dried mustard
4 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons garlic salt
1  tablespoon ground ginger
3 tablespoons ground white pepper
1 cup Buttermilk
1 Egg, beaten
1 Chicken, cut up, the breast pieces cut in half for more even frying
Canola oil
1)  Mix the flour in a bowl with all the herbs and spices; set aside.
2)  Mix the buttermilk and egg together in a separate bowl until combined. Soak the chicken in the buttermilk mixture at room temperature, 20-30 minutes.
3)  Remove chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dip the chicken pieces in the herb-spice-flour mixture to coat all sides, shaking off excess. Allow to sit on a rack over a baking sheet, 20 minutes.
4)  Meanwhile, heat about 3 inches of the oil in a large Dutch oven (or similar heavy pot with high sides) over medium-high heat to 350 degrees. (Use a deep-frying thermometer to check the temperature.) When temperature is reached, lower the heat to medium to maintain it at 350. Fry 3 or 4 pieces at a time, being careful not to crowd the pot. Fry until medium golden brown, turning once, 15-18 minutes. Transfer chicken pieces to a baking sheet covered with paper towels. Allow the oil to return to temperature before adding more chicken. Repeat with remaining chicken.

Trump told US Weekly in 2010 that his older sister Maryanne makes meatloaf for him on his birthday. The dish took center stage when Donald and Melania Trump stopped by Martha Stewart's cooking show in 2005 to demonstrate how one does "Meatloaf with The Donald."

RECIPE 


Ingredients :


2 lbs fresh ground beef
1 Spanish onion (fine dice)
1 Red bell pepper (fine dice)
1 Green bell pepper (fine dice)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 large beefsteak tomato diced fine (remove seeds)
2 extra large fresh eggs
2/3 cup of seasoned breadcrumbs
¼ cup chopped parsley
2/3 cup of tomato puree
1/2 tablespoon of salt and pepper
1). In a large sauce pan slowly cook peppers, onion, garlic and tomato until the onions turn translucent and let cool.
2). In a large mixing bowl add ground beef, cooked cool vegetables, eggs, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt and pepper and mix well.
3). Remove the mixture from bowl and place in a 14”x 9” x 2” ceramic baking dish and form into a loaf.
4). Top loaf with tomato puree and bake in a 350 degree oven for 45-55 minutes or until brown and firm.
5). Let the loaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mushroom gravy and Mashed Potatoes.

The peanut butter and banana sandwich (PB&B), or peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich (PB,B&B), sometimes referred to as an Elvis Sandwich, the Velvet Elvis, or simply the Elvis, is a sandwich with toasted bread, peanut butter, sliced or mashed banana, and occasionally bacon. 

Honey or jelly is seen in some variations of the sandwich. The sandwich is frequently cooked in a pan or on a griddle.

The sandwich was made famous as a favorite of the American singer Elvis Presley. The recipe for the sandwich has been published in numerous cookbooks and newspaper stories.

 It has been sold commercially in restaurants.

Decadent Chocolate Cake - Recipe




DECADENT CHOCOLATE CAKE



CHOCOLATE GANACHE CAKE

For the chocolate ganache

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4. Grease and line two 20cm/8in sandwich tins.

  2. For the cake, place all of the cake ingredients, except the boiling water, into a large mixing bowl. Using a wooden spoon, or electric whisk, beat the mixture until smooth and well combined.

  3. Add the boiling water to the mixture, a little at a time, until smooth. (The cake mixture will now be very liquid.)

  4. Divide the cake batter between the sandwich tins and bake in the oven for 25–35 minutes, or until the top is firm to the touch and a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.

  5. Remove the cakes from the oven and allow to cool completely, still in their tins, before icing.

  6. For the chocolate icing, heat the chocolate and cream in a saucepan over a low heat until the chocolate melts. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk the mixture until smooth, glossy and thickened. Set aside to cool for 1–2 hours, or until thick enough to spread over the cake.

  7. To assemble the cake, run a round-bladed knife around the inside of the cake tins to loosen the cakes. Carefully remove the cakes from the tins.

  8. Spread a little chocolate icing over the top of one of the chocolate cakes, then carefully top with the other cake.

  9. Transfer the cake to a serving plate and ice the cake all over with the chocolate icing, using a palette knife.
